Order Cancellation & Return Policy
AEL Diamonds  offers customers 7-days from the day their order is shipped to cancel their order. This does NOT include items with any element of personalization, e.g. rings designed by clients or any third party, engraving etc. If you wish to cancel your purchase, simply call us at 0116 2768686 for a return authorisation code and instructions. Where the customer exercises their right to cancel we will return their money within 30 days.

Important considerations:

• Return all the original packaging. You may be liable for the replacement cost of the packaging and collateral material. For example, the diamond certificate is unique and carries a £125 replacement fee.
• Address your package. You will receive the address of a special destination for returns.
• You must call before you return your diamond. Any unauthorised, improperly packaged, or non-insured packages will be returned to sender. Items that have been damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

Once your package is received by AEL Diamonds, it will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department and you will receive an e-mail notification regarding your return.

Note that once your item has shipped, your order cancellation will take effect after a) it is returned to AEL Diamonds, and b) our Quality Assurance analyses your diamond and verifies that it is in its original condition.

Note: AEL Diamonds will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments. We cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer as a result of late delivery or cancellation of your order.

Guarantees
We will correct any manufacturing defaults during the first 12 months. Your guarantee is invalidated if you allow a third party to work on the piece that you have bought from us. Please note that diamonds DO NOT fall out of jewellery or rings, they can only ever be dislodged. Therefore please ensure you insure your diamond jewellery and rings.

Product Availability & Pricing
All of our charges are in GB pounds (£).
Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honour inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause

Shipments Are Insured
We fully insure each order. That means that your order shipment is always risk-free. For added security, it is our policy that a signature is required for all orders. Please make arrangements for someone to be available at the shipping destination to sign for receipt.

Alternate Shipping Addresses
If you prefer, we can ship your order to an address other than your billing address. As a security precaution, we require that your alternate shipping address be on file with your credit card company. This step helps protect you from fraudulent charges to your credit card.

Diamond Certificates
When you order a loose diamond, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly-respected diamond laboratories — making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond.
If you do not include both the diamond grading report and appraisal with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee.

Information on Our Website
At AEL Diamonds, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalogue is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, colour and size may vary slightly.

Legal Notices
Under no circumstances shall AEL Diamonds be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict product liability or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages

Privacy Policy
AEL Diamonds is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use information given at the time of ordering or when making an enquiry by whatever means is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We do not pass your personal information on to third parties.

We use the personal data that you directly provide to administer your Anara account, to supply you with the products you chose and to maintain records. By buying products online you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data.

All transactions that you initiate with us on this web site are confidential. Your name will not be added to any third party mailing lists.

We collect information about you for two main reasons:

• To process your online order.
• To provide you with the most efficient possible service.

The information collected will be used to personally keep in touch and let you know of any offers, sales or promotions that we are carrying out (if you have selected to receive these emails/newsletters via the mailing list feature).
